Gabrielle Cardamone, SLP

FOCUS Fort Myers Therapy

SLP

Gabrielle Cardamone (“Ms. Gabby”) is an SLP (speech-language pathologist) who provides speech therapy in Fort Myers to our pediatric patients at FOCUS Therapy.

Ms. Gabby brings a wealth of diverse experience to the FOCUS team. Originally drawn to audiology due to her personal experience with hearing loss, she discovered her true passion in Speech-Language Pathology after earning her bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education from Utah State University. She recently completed her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Yeshiva University in 2025, building on her earlier foundation with an Associates in Science and Mathematics from Corning Community College.

Her clinical background spans multiple settings including early intervention with infants and toddlers, assisted living facilities, and neurogenic private practice providing telehealth services. She specializes in neurological and developmental disorders, with particular focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and raising awareness about how hearing loss impacts speech and language development.

Ms. Gabby is especially drawn to working with children because of their humor, intelligence, and those magical “Aha!” moments during therapy sessions. Her greatest joy is witnessing the pride on parents’ faces as they see their children grow and develop.

Her therapy philosophy is rooted in Dr. Seuss’s wisdom: “A person’s a person, no matter how small” – a reminder that every individual deserves respect, dignity, and protection regardless of size or perceived significance.

Born and raised in a small town in Upstate New York near the Finger Lakes (Go Bills! ❤️💙), she joined FOCUS Therapy in 2025 and is impressed by the collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care. Her therapy philosophy is rooted in Dr. Seuss’s wisdom: “A person’s a person, no matter how small.”

When she’s not at FOCUS, you’ll find Ms. Gabby enjoying Southwest Florida’s beach life, trying new restaurants, reading with her cats, creating art, attending concerts, or paddle boarding with friends!
