Kaelyn Korovich, Receptionist

Kaelyn Korovich, FOCUS Therapy

Kaelyn Korovich, who earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise sports science with a concentration of health and wellness at Merideth College in Raleigh, N.C., has worked as a FOCUS Therapy receptionist since 2021.

Kaelyn’s internship at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh involved working with individuals whose chronic conditions inhibited their ability to engage in activities of daily life. She was drawn to working with children – particularly in a therapy center – after attending therapy sessions with her little sister, who was developmentally delayed with a mild case of hydrocephalus.

“She inspired me so much, and has instilled in me so much happiness, and the desire to make an impact on the lives of children,” Kaelyn explained.

Born in New Jersey, she grew up in Miami, FL, and moved to SWFL after college to be closer to family. FOCUS, she says, has become like a second family.

“The connections you get to build with children, their families, and the staff is something so exceptional,” Kaelyn said. “Being in a clinic that creates so many opportunities for success for kids with a broad range of developmental delays, disabilities and challenges is so rewarding.”

In her spare time, she loves working out, reading, and cooking interesting new meals.
