Haley Ott

SLPA, Director of the FOCUS Teletherapy Department

Haley is a graduate of “THE” Ohio State University, with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders. A native of Norwalk, Ohio, she is licensed as a speech and language pathology assistant, and can communicate in American Sign Language. She always felt a strong connection to children – their carefree nature and  the fact that they seek the fun in every moment. Her career in speech therapy was fueled by a desire to share the same kind of love and caring she received during her own childhood. At FOCUS, she has found a second family, welcomed by colleagues who are both skilled and caring. Haley has special interest in working with children who have expressive disorders and delays. Her therapy philosophy is to make each session so fun, the child doesn’t realize it’s “work.” Spare time with Haley often involves a game of volleyball (her mother was a volleyball coach). She also is fond of her “outside pet cat….” AKA – a raccoon.
