COTA

Macie graduated with highest honors from Keiser University with an Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy, and is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Health Science. Along with being nationally certified as a COTA (certified occupational therapy assistant), Macie is part of the American Board of Occupational Therapy and the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy. At 5-years-old, she was diagnosed with ADHD, giving her a unique perspective when treating children with related diagnoses. She has a passion for working with kids and helping children achieve their therapeutic goals through individualized treatments in a fun, loving environment. Additionally, Macie is trained in non-violent crisis prevention and kinesiology taping for neuromuscular disorders. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her fur babies to the beach.
